The big trip! (June - August 2006).
Seven weeks; 685 species; 2 maps. Over 50 endemics seen. Visited areas: Tumbes & Marañon, central Andes, the coast (incl. pelagic trip) and areas around Cusco/Abancay: so pretty much anywhere but the lowlands of the east. Includes the hardly known but very fruitfull site Runtacocha and several other seldomly visited areas. The first four weeks were spent birding with friends. I only focussed on rare birds, not numbers, during the last three weeks, when my girlfriend Keete joined me.
